The name, the roots and the way of working.

TRIMWARD is built around direction, balance and forward movement. Technology is not at the centre; the people and the work that must keep running well are.

The name comes from inland shipping.

The name TRIMWARD comes from the world we started in: inland shipping. A vessel's trim is its balance from bow to stern. Adjusting that balance on purpose changes how the vessel behaves.

Organisations are not ships. But the principle is familiar: in your organisation too, people, processes, information and technology affect one another. Sometimes a small adjustment is enough. Sometimes a bigger change of course is needed. TRIMWARD helps you make those choices deliberately and stay on course.

What we stand for

Stay on course

Holding direction while people and organisations develop.

Build capability, not dependency

We pass on knowledge and ways of working, so your organisation can carry on by itself.

We do what we say

We take responsibility for what we agree, build and leave behind. Also once the advice is finished.

Core values

Ownership, reliability, pragmatism and results orientation.

The TRIMWARD Way

Grow × Craft × Community × Service

Four values shape how we work, including inside your organisation.

Grow
Keep growing. We stay curious, keep learning and keep looking for the next improvement that matters.
Craft
Own it. Make it work.We take responsibility, do what we say and stay involved until the result is there.
Community
Make others stronger. We work with and for people. Technology should strengthen what people can do.
Service
Make a difference. For us, the value lies in what really changes for you.

What TRIMWARD is and is not

What we are

An independent partner for change in work, knowledge and self-reliance. We are not tied to one technology or vendor, and we work from knowledge of the sector.

What we are not

Not a consultancy that bills by the hour. Not a generic AI agency without knowledge of the work. Not a software reseller. And not a service that replaces your own knowledge.
